The original PhoneCoach that is still a popular basic system for recording role-plays when training individuals or small groups. The Simulator fits neatly into a strong but smart professional briefcase. The briefcase contains:

Two neat, modern telephones.
A compact, voice-activated tape recorder, on which role-play calls can be recorded for later playback and analysis. The tape recorder starts and stops automatically as telephones are picked up and put down again.
A mains transformer plug and lead which gives safe, low voltage operation of the equipment.
Two five metre extension cables to supplement the standard cables on the telephones, so role-players do not have to sit too close together.
A pair of lightweight headphones so that calls may be listened to privately as they happen or on playback.

An easy-to-use Control Unit which enables a trainer to:

Listen in to a call as it happens via the loudspeaker and/or headphones without affecting recording. Replay recorded calls through the loudspeaker for analysis. Replay recorded calls through the telephones for analysis. Take part if you wish, by using an optional extra telephone.
Release the tape recorder from its dependence on the telephones and use it as a stand-alone tape recorder for replay and analysis.
